Jalandhar-born IPL cricketer Rahul Sharma has tested positive for drugs, Mumbai police said on Friday. Sharma, who plays for IPL franchisee Pune Warriors, has also represented Punjab.

He was arrested on May 20 during a police raid at a rave part in Juhu. Wayne Parnell, another IPL cricketer, too has tested positive for drugs, the police said.

Sharma is presently in Sri Lanka as he had been chosen to play for India in the upcoming tour to the island country.
