P'kula to host national conference of State Public Service Commissions

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will inaugurate the 16th national conference of State Public Service Commissions at hotel The Bella Vista, Panchkula, today.

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will inaugurate the 16th national conference of State Public Service Commissions at hotel The Bella Vista, Panchkula, today.

Hooda will be the chief guest on this occasion while the chairman, Union Public Service Commission, DP Aggarwal will preside over the conference. Other participants such as members of State Public Service Commissions will attend the event.

The members of different State Public Service Commission would come together and deliberate on number of issues relating to the working of the commissions, the challenges that the recruitment process throws up and also share the views on how to make the working of the commissions better and efficient.

This conference provides a platform to State Public Service Commissions for sharing their experience in respect of reforms in the recruitment process, procedure, rules and amendment. Matter regarding the Right to Information Act and important judgments would also be discussed in the conference.
