A pick-up van loaded with 35 bags of cement was reported stolen from outside a house in Burail.

Police sources said that the complainant Sunil Kumar had alleged that he had parked his four-wheeler outside his house at night, but found it missing in the morning. The police have registered a case of theft.

In a separate incident, a theft of ` 2 lakh was reported from an industrial plot in Phase 1, Industrial Area, on Friday.

In a complaint registered at the Industrial Area Police Station, owner of the plot Sanjay Arora said that the cash was kept inside a box, which was later found broken. A case has been registered.
