Punjab budget session to commence from March 12 to March 25

The budget session of Punjab Legilative Assembly will commence here from March 12.A decision to this effect was taken at the Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal here, an official spokesman said.

The budget session would commence on March 12 with Governor's address and the budget for 2015-16 would be presented on March 20 by Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa, the spokesman said.

The session would be adjourned sine die on March 25,he added.
