The Dasara festival is all set to begin in Mysuru and the city is gearing up for the grand celebrations. The elephant show - which is also known as Gajapayana - has always been the highlight of the city's Dasara festival, and elephants have already arrived in the city.
A video has now gone viral on social media in which elephants and their mahouts are seen walking through parts of the city.
Around 10 elephants were spotted on the roads of Mysuru on Tuesday evening. Each was assisted by two mahouts, and people on the roads were alerted through megaphones.

This year, the Dasara celebrations will be held from September 26 to October 5, and Abhimanyu will also lead the herd during 'Jumbo Savari' on Vijayadashami.
