As many as 16 people, including 10 women, were injured when a pick-up vehicle overturned after its tyre burst near Neerpur village in Mahendergarh on Thursday, police said.
The injured were rushed to civil hospital and a private hospital in Narnaul, where their condition is said to be out of danger.
A spokesperson of Mahendergarh police said that the incident occurred when 30 people, including women, were returning to Rajasthan’s Sheopura village from Nihalpura village in Rajasthan after paying condolences over the death of a man.
“All the injured persons hail from Rajasthan. The incident occurred when a pick-up vehicle overturned following a tyre burst. Six persons were rushed to a private hospital and 10 to civil hospital in Narnaul. The passerby has taken out the occupants from the pick-up vehicle after it overturned,” the spokesperson added.
