The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Regional Office, Sector 17 B, Chandigarh, has successfully operationalised a new Aadhaar Seva Kendra within the same premises. The Centre was made operational from Saturday, 10 days ahead of the committed timeline. UIDAI director Jagdish Kumar, along with deputy director Tejinder Pal Singh, inaugurated the office. Equipped with modern facilities and enhanced operational capacity, the new centre will offer seamless Aadhaar enrolment and update services for residents of Chandigarh and neighbouring areas. The centre is expected to improve accessibility, reduce waiting time, and provide a smoother service experience to citizens.
