A 35-year-old Punjab Police cop and her mother were burnt to death after their car caught fire following a hit-and-run accident near Sullar Gharat village on Saturday morning.

The deceased, Sarabjit Kaur and her mother, Inderjit Kaur, 55, residents of Mauran village, were travelling in a Maruti Suzuki Swift car when the incident occurred around 7 am.
