A dispute allegedly over a delayed food delivery escalated into an attack at a factory in Janta Nagar, where a food delivery man, along with his aides, allegedly damaged the premises, assaulted a labourer and fled with 4.65 lakh on Thursday. The accused has been identified as Harsh Kumar of Janta Nagar, while his aides are yet to be identified.

According to the complaint filed by Kulbhushan, the incident took place at his factory, Ganga Productions, located on Ganga Street near Bhagwan Chowk. The complainant told police that around 9 pm, his nephew, Diwanshu Jain, was present at the factory and had ordered food through a food delivery app. Harsh Kumar of Janta Nagar arrived with an aide to deliver the order.

The complaint alleged that an argument broke out between Harsh and a labourer over the delay in delivery. The situation allegedly took a violent turn when Harsh called several associates to the factory. According to the complainant, the accused and their aides allegedly pelted bricks at the factory and broke its gate before forcibly entering the premises.

He alleged that the accused assaulted a labourer with weapons and then damaged articles inside the office. During the alleged vandalism, the accused reportedly took 4.65 lakh in cash from a drawer in the office before fleeing the spot. The Division Number 6 police station registered an FIR against Harsh Kumar and his six aides, who are yet to be identified.
