Kurukshetra travel agent held for duping youth of ₹ 28 lakh

: Kurukshetra police have arrested a travel agent for allegedly duping a youth of ₹ 28 lakh on the pretext of sending him to Canada. The accused, identified as Vikas Kumar of Bairsal village of Karnal district, was arrested on Monday. As per information, Sumit Kumar of Barsana village of Kaithal had filed a complaint on April 27 this year that the accused had promised to send him abroad and demanded ₹ 28 lakh. He said that he gave him the money, but was not allowed to board the flight due to lack of required documents.
