She got the better of the mathematics demon that lived in the minds of the students by making learning a fun experience. Hailing from Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district, Mamta has been teaching at the Bhiwani school since 2016. She was recruited as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in 2011 and her first posting was at Government Girls’ School in Bhiwani’s Devrala. She got promoted as a post-graduate teacher in 2016.

“I am grateful that my students are satisfied with my teaching style. I have made videos of my lectures which were telecasted on TV channels. The education department also shared my handwritten notes and videos among students during the Covid-19 lockdown. It was satisfying for me that students enjoyed the way I took the online and offline classes. I teach them using innovative methods to elicit their interest in the subject,” she added.
