Saini announced land for Maharishi Kashyap ‘dharamshala’ in Kaithal
Addressing a state-level function organised on the occasion of “Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti” at Sant Kabir Kutir in Chandigarh, Saini also said that funds will be provided for establishing a Maharishi Kashyap Chair at Kurukshetra University
The Haryana government will provide land for the construction of a Dharamshala in Kaithal in the name of Maharishi Kashyap, said Haryana chief minister (CM) Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday.

He also announced that a roundabout in Indri will be named after Maharishi Kashyap and his status will be installed there.

MLA from Indri assembly constituency, Ram Kumar Kashyap, said that although the Kashyap community wanted to celebrate Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti with a grand function in Kaithal, they decided to organise a smaller event keeping in mind the appeal made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Saini to save diesel and petrol.
