Kurukshetra University in collaboration with the Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB) is going to organise an international conference on “Swadharma in Shrimad Bhagwad Gita: Inspiration for Duty, Peace, and Harmony” from November 24 to 26.

A ceremony was held for the launch of the official website and poster of the upcoming 10th International Gita Conference–2025 (IGC).
Som Nath Sachdeva, vice-chancellor, Kurukshetra University, said, “The theme of this year’s International Gita Conference explores the timeless relevance of Swadharma as a guiding principle for ethical action, inner balance, and global harmony. In an age of rapid change and moral complexity, the Gita’s message inspires us to align personal duty with collective well-being and universal peace.”
Tejinder Sharma, director (IGC–2025), said that the conference will showcase Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj and several eminent international speakers.
Jimmy Sharma, deputy director, public relations, informed that the conference website link is https://gitaconferencekurukshetra.in/ the last date for submission of abstracts and full papers is November 15.
He further said that the conference will cover key sub themes such as Swadharma and Leadership Ethics, sustainable human development, environmental dharma, Nishkama Karma and well-being, ethics and technology, and peacebuilding through education and universal values.
