What is double decker flyover?
According to the proposed plan, vehicles will run on the lower deck, while the Metro rail will run on the upper deck. These flyovers have been designed in such a way that it will save, according to the government estimates, around ₹ 121 cr of taxpayers’ money.

Which routes will be covered by these double-decker flyover?
The budget document tabled in the state legislative assembly said, the three planned double-decker flyovers will stretch from:
1) Bhajanpura to Yamuna Vihar
2) Azadpur to Rani Jhansi intersections
3) Saket to Pul Prahaladpur.

{{/usCountry}}Arvind kejriwal- led Delhi government announced construction of 26 new flyover/underpass/bridges projects in different parts of Delhi. These include projects such as Barapullah Phase 3 flyover from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar, flyover from Punjabi Bagh to Raja Garden, and elevated road at Najafgarh Phirni.
FM Gahlot proposed a total budget of ₹ 3,126 Crore for projects of roads and bridges.
According to the budget paper, there are 7,379 buses currently plying in Delhi with 300 Electric buses. By end of 2023, FM Gahlot says, Delhi will have a total of 1900 Electric buses which will help in saving Co2 emissions of 1.07 lacs tonnes annually.
