In separate incidents of rape, a minor girl was allegedly kidnapped, drugged, raped and filmed in Bhankarota area and a married woman was kept hostage and gang-raped by four men for three days in the city.
In the first incident, two friends, identified as Rakesh Jat and Om Prakash, allegedly kidnapped a 15-year-old girl, drugged and raped her, and filmed the entire act two months ago. Since then the accusing had been blackmailing her on the basis of the video clipping and raped her repeatedly.
Unable to bear the harassment, the victim recently told her parents about the incident, after which a case of kidnapping, rape, and misuse of IT Act was lodged at the Bhankrota police station. The police have launched a search for the accused.
In another incident, a 22-year-old married woman on Friday lodged a complaint with the police that she was gang-raped by four men. According to the complainant, she was on way to her house on the night of August 9 in Karni Vihar area when Suresh and Gujju, who were known to her, offered to drop her on their bike.
Instead of taking her home, the accused allegedly took her to a room, where they held her hostage. The accused then called two other men and all of them allegedly raped her in turns after consuming liquor. The victim was released on August 13, said Sisram, investigating officer in the case. A case has been filed and the matter is being investigated, he added.
