Mumbai: The Goregaon police on Tuesday arrested a 28-year-old delivery boy for allegedly stalking and threatening a 14-year-old girl over a period of three months in Goregaon (West).

According to police, the stalking began on December 25, 2025, when the accused repeatedly followed the girl while she was on her way to school. He allegedly threatened her, saying, “If you do not speak to me, just watch what I do to you,” and made gestures asking her to approach him.
Based on the girl’s complaint, a case was registered under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. During the investigation, police scanned footage from over 70 CCTV cameras in the area.
Though initial visuals near the school did not clearly capture the suspect’s face or vehicle number, further analysis helped identify him near a housing society behind a local complex.
Police traced the accused through his mobile number obtained from a customer and arrested him from his workplace. During interrogation, he confessed to stalking and harassing the minor from December until March 27. “The accused has been arrested and will be produced before the court on Wednesday,” an officer said.
