Greater Noida: The sixth edition of the EV India Expo, an international exhibition on electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, automotive components and allied industries, began at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida on Tuesday.
Being organised by Indian Exhibition Services and the Green Society of India, the three-day expo, featuring over 200 exhibitors, aims to bring companies and businesses associated with the electric vehicle industry on a single platform.
On the first day, during a conference on future of electric vehicles and sustainability, Dr Rajiv Mishra, president of the International Federation of Electric Motors Association, underlined the importance of sustainability in the transition towards electric mobility.
“Sustainability and recycling go hand in hand. We learn about sustainability at a young age, since we are in school, about how to save water,” he said.
Entry is free for business visitors. The exhibition will last till September 3 (Thursday).
