Pune: The Maharashtra state common entrance test (CET) cell has extended the registration deadline for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for undergraduate agriculture courses for the 2026-27 academic year till July 31.

The registration process, which began on July 10, was scheduled to close on July 25. According to the CET Cell, 21,427 students have registered for admissions so far, compared to 23,036 registrations in the previous year.
The extension applies to admissions to BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, BFSc (Fisheries Science), BTech Agricultural Engineering, BTech Food Technology, BSc (Hons) Community Science, BTech Biotechnology, and BSc (Hons) Agribusiness Management.
Maharashtra has 195 agriculture colleges offering the programmes, with a total intake capacity of 17,586 seats.
