Over 11 lakh to appear for PCM, PCB CET; correction window open March 5–7

The online correction window will remain open from March 5 to 7, allowing registered candidates to edit details such as name, date of birth, photograph, signature, gender, group selection and add a second attempt.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced that 11,42,610 students will take MHT CET 2026 for the PCM and PCB streams.

The online correction window will remain open from March 5 to 7, allowing registered candidates to edit details such as name, date of birth, photograph, signature, gender, group selection and add a second attempt.

For the first time, candidates can appear twice, with the higher score considered for admissions. The computer-based exams will be conducted at centres across Maharashtra.

PCM will be held from April 11–19 (first attempt) and May 14–17 (second attempt). PCB is scheduled for April 21–26 and May 10–11.

Of the total applicants, 7,55,029 have registered for the first attempt and 3,87,581 for the second. PCM registrations stand at 7,60,981, up from 4,64,262 last year, while PCB registrations have risen to 3,81,629 from 3,01,073 in 2025.
