Riley Meredith bangs it hard on the surface with pace on, in the line of the stumps and just gets it to straighten up a bit from the surface. Also gets a good bit of bounce on it. Josh Philippe backs away a tries to access the pull shot, but he is a bit tentative in his approach as the ball gets heavy on him. Goes through the shot, top-edging it high in the air, to the right of the crease. Matthew Wade comes running forward and takes this skier safely in his mitts!

A pearler from Meredith! Length at 149.9 clicks, nipping back in a touch, staying low as well. Josh Philippe is totally flummoxed by it and plays over it. The ball beats the inside edge and teasingly passes close to the off-pole, on the way back to the keeper!

An huge, huge appeal for caught behind but the umpire shows no interest. Meredith and Wade think that there's a feather off the bat's edge and it is sent upstairs for the review. Meredith steams in from over the stumps, on a good length. Gets the ball to nip back into the batter, on the leg stump line with some extra bit of bounce. Kurtis Patterson gets a bit too across to nudge it across but misses and the ball passes close to the bat on the way to the keeper. However, UltraEdge shows that it didn't clipped the bat, but deflected the thigh pad on the way to the keeper. NOT OUT!
