OUT! TAKEN! Finally, Mohammad Mohsin takes a catch in this game. Marcus Stoinis bowls a slow bouncer over off. Monank Patel tried to use the pace to ramp it over the infield but there was none on it. Mohammad Mohsin runs behind from short third and grabs it safely.  Monank Patel's impactful knock comes to an end as well.

SIX! PULLED AWAY! Marcus Stoinis drops it short and over off. Monank Patel pulls it towards the cow corner. The ball is hit in the gap and it hits the advertising boards beyond the fence for a biggie.

OUT! TAKEN! FIFTY AND GONE! Marcus Stoinis goes full and on the pads. Rashid Khan flicks it towards deep mid-wicket but he doesn't connect well. The substitute fielder Cameron Stevenson runs in and takes a safe catch to end Rashid Khan's impressive innings. Marcus Stoinis appreciated him for his knock and seals the win for the Super Kings.

It makes you wonder if Rashid Khan had a few more overs, would it be easier for MI New York to chase down the target with his current form?

FOUR! Another helicopter-esque shot and 25 runs come off the over. Naveen-ul-Haq switches to around the stumps and tries to angle it across the off stump, Rashid Khan hangs back again and wafts the ball over cover-point for a one-bounce boundary. That nearly went the distance!

FOUR! Here comes the helicopter now and MI New York are still in with an outside chance. Pitched up quite full and on the stumps, Rashid hangs back and gets under the ball before shovelling it away over mid off for a boundary.

SIX! RASHID GOES BANG, BANG! Dug in quick and short now around off stump, Rashid Khan climbs on top of the bounce and swats the pull away over deep mid-wicket for another biggie.

SIX! THAT IS HUGE! Pitched up right in the slot and outside off stump, Rashid Khan goes deep in the crease and slightly across to the off side before slogging it away out of the ground over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie. That went 103 meters!

Hits the deck hard and bowls it at the batter, Monank Patel forces the ball back over the bowler's head or a single.

FOUR! Nicely played! Banged in well short and outside off stump, Monank Patel gets across to the off side, bends a bit and ramps it down to deep third for four runs.

Quicker one, pushed through on middle, Rashid Khan blocks it off.

Lucky for the bowler and that really should have been put away. A low full toss on the pads and angling down leg, Rashid Khan plays a no-look flick shot but hits it straight to short fine leg.

The ball drifts onto middle but grips and rips away after pitching. Tim David leans on to drive but is beaten all ends up and the ball castles into the off stump.

Sliding onto the pads, neatly worked away through mid-wicket for a single.

DROPPED! This time, Mohammad Mohsin has put down a sitter. Short of a length and outside off, Monank Patel goes hard at it but ends up miscuing the ball up and over towards short third. Mohsin takes a few steps back but makes a mess of the catch and juggles it onto the ground. A single is taken.

Banged in short at the batter, Tim David gets across and pulls it to deep square leg for a single.

On the bounce! Floated up, full and outside off stump, Tim David gets across and goes hard at it but ends up slicing it towards short third. Mohammad Mohsin dives forward to his left and pouches the ball with both hands and he doesn't quite know whether it went straight into the hand or not. The replays roll in and show that the ball went on the half-volley and the third umpire deems it NOT OUT.

Slower one, pitched up well outside off and angling in, Monank Patel leans ahead and manages to hit it down to long off for a run.

Short of a length and outside off stump, Tim David stays back and cuts it wide of deep third for a single.

WIDE! And again! Almost an exact replica of the previous delivery and that is mighty close to being called a no ball instead of a wide

Looped full on leg. Tim David clips it to deep mid-wicket to end the 10th over with a single. At the halfway stage, MI New York are way behind the eight ball and the Texas Super Kings have got them in a stranglehold. They need to get some boundaries in each over to break out of that.

OUT! TAKEN! BRILLIANT CATCH! Zia-ul-Haq gets a huge wicket! He bowls it full and right on the toes. Kieron Pollard covers the line and flicks it towards short fine leg. Dwayne Bravo, his long-time mate, is the fielder there and he takes a low catch leaning to his right. The umpires send it upstairs and the replays show that it was a clean catch. A struggling innings from Kieron Pollard comes to an end but that has pushed MI New York deeper down the well. With 4 wickets gone, it is going to be a tough hill to climb from here.

Naveen-ul-Haq starts well, serves it on a length and angles into the batter. Kieron Pollard nudges it towards mid-wicket and runs a single.

There comes the false shot after a sustained spell of pressure but Kieron Pollard gets away with it. A well-directed short ball around head height. Kieron Pollard gets rushed into the hook shot and gets a top edge that goes quite fine of deep backward square leg and falls in front of the fielder running across. A single is taken and that is the only run in the over.

This is nervous stuff from MI New York and they seem to have no way out at the moment. Just back of a length and around off stump, Kieron Pollard takes a couple of steps ahead and defends it to mid off.

OUT! CAUGHT! A ripper of a delivery from Marcus Stoinis and Texas Super Kings are firmly in control here. Stoinis surprises everyone as he dishes out a well-directed bumper, bowled at almost 131 KPH and right around that right shoulder. Steven Taylor gets hurried on as he tries to pull and gets a top edge. The ball just pops up behind the stumps and the keeper, Devon Conway takes a few steps forward to complete an easy catch.

Pitched up a bit on off and middle, Steven Taylor gets on the front foot and plays it back to the bowler.

Hard length around off stump, hit on the up and firmly towards deeo cover-point for a couple of runs.

FOUR! Gets it through again! Slower one from Marcus Stoinis and outside off, Steven Taylor checks the cover drive and just times it sweetly wide of covers and Faf du Plessis is unable to scamper across and get a hand on it. The ball pierces the infield and rolls to the fence.

FOUR! Top shot! Good length around the top of off stump, a touch of width on offer, Steven Taylor stands tall and just gets his hands through the ball and times it perfectly through covers for a crunching boundary.

OUT! LBW! A late, late decision from the umpire but the finger does finally go up for the LBW appeal. Zia-ul-Haq stays around the stumps and bowls it with an upright seam, a bit into the deck and angling it in at the stumps. It isn't quite short and Nicholas Pooran tries to get inside the line and swing it away but misses. The ball goes off his pads past the keeper and the batters look to scamper for a bye but the finger goes up. Pooran takes the review and there's nothing on UltraEdge. Ball Tracking shows the wickets as umpire's call and the onfield decision stands. The dangerous Pooran goes cheaply and he gets a bit of a send-off from the opposition as well.

Good length in and around off stump and angling back in, Steven Taylor stays compact and nudges it away on the leg side for a quick single.

A gentle full toss now angled in on the pads, Nicholas Pooran clips it on the front foot and through wide mid on for a single to get off the mark.

Not quite short enough and around off stump, Nicholas Pooran looks to stay back and pull but misses it completely.

On a hard length and wide of the off stump, Steven Taylor gets his hands across and hits through the line to the left of covers where the fielder gets a hand on it and deflects the ball to mid off. They get a single.
