In the first delivery, Jonassen sent a length ball, around middle, which Wolvaardt clobbered over long-off for a six! In the next delivery, she pulled the bowler to square leg boundary for a four!

In the fourth delivery, Wolvaardt pulled her once again to square leg for a four!

Poonam tosses it up, a half-volley, outside off. Harleen drives it to long-on for a single. The partnership is slowly building up, but they need to increase the tempo!

After toss, Gujarat captain Sneh said, "We have two changes, Laura and Ashwini come in place of Meghana and Annabel. Laura and Dunkley will be opening for us. In the last few matches, we have improved in our bowling and batting. We also have had a few good partnerships with the bat, so we are improving."

After winning the toss, Lanning said, "We are gonna have a bowl tonight. A new wicket, will see how it plays. Will look to bowl well and chase it down. It’s a new day today, we played well that night, they have some world class players. Poonam Yadav comes in for Tara Norris, we feel that it will suit this matchup."

DC captain Lanning has won the toss and opted to bowl.

Ahead of the match, GG wicketkeeper Sushma spoke about her side's bowling depth. She said, "I think we have a lot of depth in bowling. We haven't yet needed Hemalatha's bowling and there are more who have not yet been required. Like we didn't use Mansi Joshi (against Mumbai Indians)."

MI's Ishaque leads the Purple Cap race with 12 wicket sin five games, followed by teammate Matthews, who has picked 10 scalps in five fixtures. UPW's Ecclestone is third with nine wickets in five matches, followed by MI's Kerr (8 in 5 games). Shikha Pandey is joint-fourth with Kerr, with eight wickets in five fixtures.

DC captain Lanning leads the Orange Cap race with 221 runs in five games, followed by RCB's Perry (205 in six matches). UPW skipper Alyssa Healy is third with 186 runs from five games. Sciver-Brunt is fourth with 182 runs from 5 fixtures, followed by MI captain Harmanpreet, who has bagged 180 runs in five outings.
