Given the shellacking he dealt Alistair Cook and Co in the Ashes recently - including injuries, concussions, bruised ribs and fingers, dented helmets, cartwheeling stumps, hurt egos and broken spirits - the left-arm slinger may not be able to do much about the terror he invokes on the English side.

But what he does hope, realistically, is raising awareness about breast cancer and get the McGrath Foundation some more visibility with his pink moustache.

Johnson tweeted a selfie sporting a pink handle-bar moustache (which he has kept all through the ongoing Ashes series) along with a link to the McGrath Foundation’s Pink Test campaign website.

The McGrath Foundation helps place in paramedical care to breast cancer patients in communities across Australia, apart from increasing awareness of disease in young women.
