India veterans Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami have slipped in the latest update on the International Cricket Council's (ICC) women's ODI rankings. Captain Mithali has lost three places in the batters' rankings to go down to seventh in the batting charts while Jhulan slipped two spots to sixth in the bowlers' rankings.

Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Kaur moved up one place to 18th in the batters' rankings.

While Mithali came into the ongoing women's World Cup in scintillating form, she has underperformed in the tournament. The 39-year-old has scored just 45 runs in three games thus far.

Jhulan has taken four wickets in three matches, become the all-time leading wicket taker in World Cup history.

Harmanpreet, on the other hand, scored 71 against New Zealand and followed that up by scoring 109 against West Indies. India beat West Indies by a whopping 155 runs, which was crucial in their race to the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup. It was Harmanpreet's first international century since the 2017 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Sophie Ecclestone’s performances in the World Cup, despite her team’s failure, has helped her to become the No.1 bowler in the ODI rankings. She leapfrogged Australia’s Jess Jonassen to grab the No.1 spot.

Star Australia wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy has retained her No.1 spot in the batting charts and England’s Tammy Beaumont is ranked No.2 with 725 rating points.
