Suspended trio to defend themselves before ICC

The three Pakistani cricketers —–Salman Butt, Mohammad Aamer and Mohammed Asif — suspended following the Lord's spot-fixing scandal have decided to defend themselves against the charges proposed by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The three Pakistani cricketers —–Salman Butt, Mohammad Aamer and Mohammed Asif — suspended following the Lord's spot-fixing scandal have decided to defend themselves against the charges proposed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after the fourth Pakistani cricketer Wahab Riaz was questioned by police.

According to a statement from the players' lawyers published in The Daily Telegraph, they "have written to the ICC indicating their intention to defend themselves".
