Team India coach Ravi Shastri is known for his no holds barred attitude when it comes to speaking his mind in public, not caring for criticism. But there is one person, whose criticism he takes seriously. The former India player and current coach shared a photograph with his mother on Twitter on the occasion of Mother’s Day and called her his ‘biggest critic’.

“To my biggest critic Mom. Happy Mother’s Day,” Shastri wrote on Twitter.

Shastri is all set for the ICC World Cup 2019, which will be his second global tournament in charge of the Indian team. He was the Team Director in 2015, when India surpassed expectations and reached the semi-finals, before losing to eventual champions Australia.

Shastri has failed to win any ICC tournament so far, having lost in the semi-final of the ICC WT20 in 2016 and will hope that the team lands the trophy this time around.

He shares a great rapport with captain Virat Kohli and the duo have already taken India to a maiden Test series win in Australia at the start of this year.

Team India leave for the World Cup on May 22 and will play New Zealand and Bangladesh in warm-up matches before starting their campaign on June 5 against South Africa.
