Outraged at the shoddy umpiring in the Sydney Test between India and Australia, cricket fans on Monday took out a protest and burnt effigies of Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson.

After marching to the main thoroughfare near cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's residence, scores of cricket fans under the banner of the All India Youth Organisation set fire to the effigies near Raj Bhawan.

They also raised slogans against the International Cricket Committee demanding that Bucknor be dropped for the remaining two Tests.
