CM launches app for sharing information on Uttarakhand schemes with people

DEHRADUN: People in Uttarakhand can now share their suggestions and issues directly with chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat through an app launched at the Secretariat on Friday.

Through the ‘Trivendra Singh Rawat App’ they can also access all the information relating to the schemes introduced by the Uttarakhand government. “I hope the app launched today help establish a better communication between the people and the state government,” Rawat said. “Through it, the people will have a clear idea of the schemes and programmes initiated by the government.”

Information will be available in Hindi and English.

Besides, phone numbers of all the District Magistrates (DMS) and the Senior Superintendents of police (SSPs) will also be available on the app. “If needed people can directly get in touch with officials. Similarly, the youth can easily contact the chief minister through that app,” the note reads.

Farmers can now have soil health cards issued from any of the 15 labs run by the horticulture and agriculture departments in the state, Rawat told a workshop at the Secretariat.

He announced that the horticulture and agriculture departments would no longer issue health cards to farmers separately. “Soil health cards can now be obtained from any of the 15 labs of the both departments as they will now work in an integrated manner.”

Rawat directed officials of the horticulture and agriculture departments to organise one such workshop every month in remote areas. “Such monthly workshops for farmers should be organised at the district, block and Nyay Panchayat levels.”
