To complete the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination, this year examinations were conducted for regular and self-study candidates at a total of 3638 examination centers in the state. This year, 624140 candidates appeared in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination as regular candidates and 111416 candidates appeared as private candidates.

This year, 64.49% regular candidates and 22.46% private candidates have passed the Higher Secondary Examination. 60.55% regular boys and 68.43% regular girl students have been successful in the examination.
