IBPS RRB officers scale 1 main admit card/call letter released, download it now

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit cards of officers Scale I main examination 2017 for recruitment in participating regional rural banks (RRBs).

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit cards of officers Scale I main examination 2017 for recruitment in participating regional rural banks (RRBs). The admit cards will be available for download until November 5, 2017.

The main examination for officers Scale I will be held on November 5, 2017.

Steps to download the call letter/admit card:

1) Go to official website of IBPS

2) Click on the link to download main exam call letter for CRP RRBs-VI officers scale I running on the top of the page

3) You will be directed to the login page

4) Enter your registration no and password

5) Enter the captcha code

6) Click on login and your admit card will be displayed on the screen

7) Take a print-out and save it on your computer

No hard copy of admit card will be sent to the candidates.

The commission has also issued information handout for Online main exam for officer scale-I in regional rural banks.

The main examination will be of 2 hour duration, with five sections carrying 200 marks for 200 questions. There will be 40 questions of reasoning and 40 of quantitative aptitude, 40 of general awareness, 40 of English language, 40 of Hindi language and 40 questions of computer knowledge. Candidates can opt only either English language or Hindi language.

The reasoning and quantitative aptitude section will carry 50 marks each, the computer knowledge section will carry 20 marks while the remaining sections will carry 40 marks each. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests. For each wrong answer one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. If a question is left blank, marks will not be deducted.

One needs to obtain a minimum score in each test of main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview.
