    Congress to form govt in Hindu majority state: Himachal Pradesh leader

    Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu exuded confidence in the Congress party that it will win the assembly elections in the Hindu majority state and said that BJP ideologies are not working.

    He lauded Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for striking an emotional connection during poll campaigning to woo voters by constructing a house at Mashobra near Shimla.

    Himachal Assembly elections: Congress hopeful to win with full majority

    Even after the exit-poll projections for Himachal Pradesh that have predicted a return of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state, Congress is still hopeful that the party would form the government with a full majority in the hill state. "People have voted for the change in state and Congress will form the government. We shall have to see the sample and sample size. Exit polls are sometimes correct but during the last few elections, it has been questioned.
