Karnataka Election: Hebbal Assembly Constituency 2023

Hebbal is the assembly constituency which comes under the Bangalore district. It is one of the 224 Karnataka Legislative Assembly Constituencies. Karnataka Assembly Election 2023 for Hebbal will be held on May 10 and the result was declared on May 13.

What happened last time

In the 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly Election, there were 28 candidates in the fray from Hebbal constituency. Hebbal was one of 80 seats won by the Indian National Congress. Indian National Congress's Suresh B S won the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Y A Narayanaswamy by a margin of 21,140 votes.

The top two candidates split 88.0% of votes between them. Indian National Congress's Suresh B S got a total of 74,453 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Y A Narayanaswamy secured 53,313 votes. Janata Dal (Secular)'s candidate Hanumanthe Gowda secured 14,092 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 51.3%, 36.7% and 9.7% respectively.

In Karnataka Assembly election 2013, Bharatiya Janata Party's R. Jagadeesh Kumar outperformed Indian National Congress's C.K. Abdul Rahman Sharief by 5,136 votes.
