  Incidents of violence reported in some parts of West Bengal during polling

  As voters in West Bengal continue to exercise their franchise during the sixth phase of the assembly elections, some incidents of violence were reported in different parts of the state. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) told news agency PTI that two of its activists were injured in firing allegedly by the security forces outside booth number 79 in Ashoknagar's Tangra area.
