Kareena Kapoor asks Vijay Varma if he's trying to read her texts, he jokes, 'they're mostly from nawab sahab, nanny'

Actors Kareena Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma will star together in Netflix's screen adaptation of the book The Devotion of Suspect X.

Actor Kareena Kapoor on Monday shared a picture of herself on Instagram. The photo also featured actor Vijay Varma. The duo was recently shooting in Darjeeling, for their upcoming film, a Netflix screen adaptation of the book The Devotion of Suspect X.

Sharing the picture, Kareena wrote, “Acha Vijay are you trying to read my messages? @itsvijayvarma #DSX Shoot." In the picture, Kareena looks busy with her phone, Vijay who is seen sitting behind her is also seen looking away from the camera. Replying to Kareena's post, Vijay wrote, “Yeah most of them were from someone called nawab sahab and nanny." Actor Arjun Kapoor joked, “Then toh he will know too much," to which Kareena replied, “@arjunkapoor but I want to see your phone."

Kareena finished the Darjeeling schedule of the film last month. After which, she returned to Mumbai, with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their kids Taimur and Jeh.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Kareena talked about the film and said that she's excited for her OTT debut. She said, “I’m very excited to be a part of this project for several reasons. This film will mark my streaming debut and it’s my return to acting after my second child with a stellar cast and crew. The film is a screen adaptation of a work which was a global bestseller. It has so many aspects to it murder, mystery, thrill and much more, which put in the hands of our inimitable director Sujoy Ghosh is something I am eager to start work on."
