What Pankaj Tripathi said
Pankaj Tripathi, who reprises his role of Kaleen Bhaiya in the film, had already teased fans about what was coming during an exclusive interview with HT earlier this week. The actor revealed that he had been working on the film’s dubbing and said that seeing the final footage had made him even more excited.
“I was doing some dubbing work yesterday and really enjoyed what I saw. I even wondered, ‘Is it just because I’m part of the film that I’m enjoying it so much?’ So, I asked the makers, they’ve been with the project for ten months, whereas I was coming in to dub for the first time. Seeing it myself really ramped up my excitement; I can't wait for the trailer to drop on the 11th,” he said
About Mirzapur: The Movie
Mirzapur: The Movie marks a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. Gurmmeet Singh has directed the film, with the screenplay written by Puneet Krishna.
The film has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers. The film is set to release on September 4, 2026.
