Navya Naveli Nanda responds to fan's 'try in Bollywood' comment: 'Beautiful women can run businesses too'

Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda reacted to a fan who asked her to 'try in Bollywood' as she is beautiful. See her response here.

Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of actor Amitabh Bachchan, has responded to a fan who complimented her beauty and advised her to 'try in Bollywood'. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Navya shared an old candid photo of herself.

Dressed in a pink T-shirt paired with matching pink pants, Navya Naveli Nanda kept her hair loose in the picture. She was sitting on a green couch. She didn't caption the picture but posted it with a sunflower emoji.

Reacting to the post, photographer Rohan Shrestha wrote, "caption is awe inspiring" and Navya replied, "just like me". Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives star Maheep Kapoor posted heart eye, red heart and sunflower emojis. Late actor Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor, wrote 'love' followed by a bunch of emojis.

Taking to the comments section, fans also showered her post with love. A fan wrote, "U r beautiful , you should try in bollywood too." Navya replied, "Thank you for your kind words, but beautiful women can run businesses too". Former Indian Idol 12 contestant Sawai Bhatt said, "Namaste mam" to which she responded with a folded hands emoji.

Unlike her grandparents and uncle, Navya doesn't want to pursue a career as an actor. She plans to join her family business, Escorts. Navya is a graduate of Fordham University and has majored in digital technology and UX design.

Earlier, Navya in an interview with Vogue magazine had said, "I would be the fourth generation of the family taking the lead—and the first woman. It is a great sense of pride for me to be carrying forward this incredible legacy left behind by my great-grandfather HP Nanda." Navya is one of the four founders of Aara Health, an organisation that works towards ensuring healthy and hygienic lives for women.
