Superstar Salman Khan took a pause from his hectic schedule to attend an event in Mumbai, but it’s not just his appearance that has everyone talking. Several videos from the outing have surfaced online, with one clip in particular catching attention for a concerning reason.

In the video, the actor is seen getting mobbed by an excited crowd of fans, struggling to make his way through the chaos. The frenzy has sparked fresh concerns on social media about Salman’s security.

Salman Khan gets mobbed

On Tuesday, Salman attended the President Cup 2026 event at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium in Thane. For the outing, Salman kept his look simple, opting for a brown shirt paired with black pants.

In the videos, Salman is seen arriving at the event with a security convoy, but his team appears to struggle to control the massive crowd that had gathered to catch a glimpse of the star. As he made his way off the stage, visuals circulating on social media show him being surrounded by a sea of fans, many attempting to get close and click photographs with him.

Amid the chaotic scene, Salman was seen keeping calm and smiling while trying to find some space to move out.

Some videos also capture the actor leaving the venue in a convoy of police vehicles, but even then, the security team appeared to struggle to keep the crowd at bay. Several fans were seen with their phones out, trying to photograph Salman as he made his exit, with a few getting close and even leaning against his car window for a better shot.

As videos of the chaos surfaced on social media, many people began questioning the arrangements in place and raised concerns over Salman’s security. Salman’s security has been a point of discussion ever since he got multiple death threats.

“#SalmanKhan gets completely mobbed by fans but one thing is missing the security. After all the threats, this looks risky,” one social media user wrote, with another writing, “Y security is not enough for him."

“The crowd is insane. Not only him even the fans & paps can get hurt and it can lead to fatal injury too. Its scary,” one shared, with one comment reading, “Long back during a Gym opening Yehi hua tha and he said he will never do a event in thane due to poor mob control management.”

“Oh my gosh I get it people are really big fans but it’s disrespectful if he has no space to walk… like give him space,” one wrote. Another shared, “Bhai Salman is very calm, what madness is he in there, I respected and loved him, a life is worth it for this man?”

“Give him some space people @beingsalmankhan.,” one wrote.

What’s next for Salman Khan

At the moment, Salman is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Maatrubhumi. Produced by the superstar under the banner of Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film stars Ek The Tiger actor as an Indian Army colonel. The makers say that the film aims to portray courage and sacrifice while showing the Galwan Valley conflict between India and China. The film was set to release in theatres on April 17, but was postponed. A new date is yet to be officially confirmed.

Meanwhile, Salman has announced his next project – an action drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally. It will be backed by producer Dil Raju. The film will go on floors later this month.
