Sridevi, who plays an evil queen in upcoming Tamil fantasy drama Puli, released her look from the film on Sunday. The film, also starring Tamil superstar Vijay, will be dubbed and released in Hindi.
Sridevi is making a comeback to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than two decades with the fantasy-adventure film. The 51-year-old English Vinglish star took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share a glimpse of her royal look as well as the release date of the film directed by Chimbu Deven.
“Sharing the look of Puli. A fun filled fantasy! Pull yourself with your kids & friends to the nearest theatre. October 1,” Sridevi wrote. Co-produced by Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar the film also features Southern superstar Vijay, Makkhi fame actor Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani in pivotal roles.
