Clad in an exquisite gold lehnga with a pink border designed by Bollywood’s favourite Manish Malhotra, the actor’s stunning persona made guests forget that they were clamouring for a seat a little while back. The show that started over an hour and a half late was seemingly packed to thrice the capacity.

Many chose to stand near the front row when they couldn’t be accomodated on their allotted seats. The photogs nearly came to blows trying to secure the best angle. With close friend Karan Johar cheering from the front row, the collection, many agreed, was Manish Malhotra’s career best so far.
