While the world was fixated with Priyanka Chopra making a bold fashion statement in a Ralph Lauren trench coat gown at New York’s Met Gala 2017 on Monday, there’s another desi Bollywood beauty who made heads turn. Deepika Padukone, dressed in a flowing white Tommy Hilfiger gown, was quite the contrast to the Quantico actor.

If Priyanka was bold and dramatic, Deepika was as delicate as it could get in her satin slip gown, with a minimalistic look and slicked-back bun. Her accessories -- diamond earring and star-shaped hair -- made the outfit look like bridal wear.
