Why treat your skin with harsh chemicals when you can get a radiant skin with DIY homemade face packs. Here’s how...

We all wish for a beautiful, glowing complexion. Face packs have always been recommend by experts for blemish-free and radiant skin. “A face pack is one of the easiest way to revitalise dull, tired skin. It helps remove impurities from your pores while nourishing your skin,” says beautician Aashmeen Munjal. But she also warns that the ingredients and chemicals used in some face packs may trigger an allergic reaction. So, for those who want to play safe, the best options are homemade face packs that cost you almost nothing but are infused with the goodness of nature. Things that you easily find in your kitchen such as tomato, lime juice, olive oil and lettuce leaves can work wonders for your skin. Here are some face pack recipes that you can easily make at home and save your skin from the harmful impacts of chemicals. FacialTomato and Lime Pack

In a medium bowl, mix the juice of 1 medium sized tomato and 4-5 drops of lime juice. Use your fingers to massage the lotion into your skin. Leave the pack on for 15 minutes, then remove it with tepid water. This pack tightens your pores and leaves your skin soft and glowing. (By beauty expert Shalu Sharma)

Cabbage and Yeast Pack
Use a blender to mix 1 tbs of honey with 2-3 cabbage leaves and 2 tbs of yeast. Apply the pack on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Finally, you can rinse off the mask with lukewarm water. Enjoy the natural astringent effect of this treatment.

Lettuce and Olive Oil Pack
This pack works for all skin types, and eliminates dead skin cells from the depth of your pores. Take two lettuce leaves and dip them into a little olive oil. Now add a few drops of lemon juice. Then place the leaves on your face and cover your face with a damp paper towel. Leave the leaves on for 10 minutes, remove and wipe off the olive oil with a cotton pad. Wash off with lukewarm water.
