Here's what you should do to keep diabetes at bay...

Diet watch

: To control your blood sugar level, eat the same amounts of food at about the same time each day. Your blood sugar level is most likely to be disturbed if you don’t regulate your diet.

Medication time

: With the intake of food, the blood sugar level goes up. While, diabetes medicine lowers down the same. Hence it is important to take both properly to keep one’s blood sugar at the healthy level.

Exercise

: A fixed routine for exercise is also important to keep a tab on the blood sugar level. Exercise for at least three times a week for about 30 to 45 minutes.

Kidney health:

Keep a close tab kidneys as a longstanding diabetes mellitus may lead to a situation of diabetic nephropathy, and may lead to kidney failure.

Beware of the symptoms of increasing problems:

High blood pressure, high blood glucose levels, smoking, and obesity in a diabetic patient further increase the risk of kidney disease in a diabetic patient.
