Frozen fans started a movement of sorts, requesting Disney to give Queen Elsa a girlfriend after it was revealed that the studio did not use any LGBT characters in their 2015 films at all.

Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. all received failing grades on GLAAD’s annual LGBT report card, while Lionsgate, Sony, Universal and Fox received “Adequate” marks, reported Ace Showbiz.
Twitter users made their voices heard by using the hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlfriend.

“As sci-fi projects have the special opportunity to create unique worlds whose advanced societies can serve as a commentary on our own, the most obvious place where Disney could include LGBT characters is in the upcoming eighth Star Wars film,” the report said.
