“I was very nervous about recreating the whole process. I kind of thought, ‘Maybe that just worked on the first one.’ How do you step in and start that up again? But like anything, you have to get into it. So, we started writing a good few weeks before and it just happened,” says Law, 38.

The second installment is being pitched as a bromance between Holmes and Watson. Ask him about the same and Law says, “The brother theme is really strong in this one. There is a theme later in this film where it questions one’s reliance on someone else and can you really trust someone?”

Not many know that Law visited India some years ago: “But it was a very short visit... I should make a trip to your country soon,” says the actor, who also thinks highly of Bollywood. “I think it’s fantastic the way all Indian films have every aspect of performing acts in-bred in them. The singing, the dancing and acting falls into a perfect synergy,” Law says.
