Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana has made him proud, and he can’t stop raving about his “baby’s” achievement.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana has made him proud, and he can’t stop raving about his “baby’s” achievement. The 12-year-old recently won a scholarship of Rs5,000 by Hindustan Times at an event in Mumbai.

Suhana, a sixth standard student at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, was among 10 students from her batch to get the scholarship on merit. Suhana received the certificate from mountaineer Arjun Vajpai.

According to guests, SRK reached the venue, Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium, much before time, while wife Gauri came in just before Suhana’s name was announced. “They got really emotional when Suhana went on stage. Shah Rukh got up and clicked pictures from his phone,” says a guest.

Tennis star Leander Paes, filmmakers R Balki and Amol Gupte also attended the event. SRK later tweeted, “my lil daughter getting Hindustan times scholarship. was great to hear Leander Paes on stage. Very proud of my babies (sic).”
