The first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming is here - and it soars!
Spider-Man, Marvel’s most popular superhero, is coming home to where he belongs - the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Just like they promised, it’s a John Hughes-style high-school story, with the youngest movie Spider-Man we’ve seen yet. Refreshingly, there’s no sign of yet another retread of Spidey’s origin story. And since they intelligently even got an introduction to Tom Holland’s version of the character out of the way in Captain America: Civil War, the film seems to be cutting straight to the chase.
Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark acts as Peter Parker’s mentor in the MCU, offering him advice you’d never hear coming out of Yoda’s mouth. “Just don’t do anything I would do. And definitely don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” he tells a confused Peter.

The film opens July 7, 2017, and also stars Bokeem Woodbine, Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress, Abraham Attah, Martin Starr, Tony Revolori, Michael Barbieri, and Angourie Rice.
