Sixty percent shooting of Dedh Ishqiya has been completed and the rest of the work will be concluded in a month’s time, says director Abhishek Chaubey.

If part one, a dark comedy directed by Chaubhey and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, was set in a small town in Uttar Pradesh and portrayed Vidya Balan in never seen before avatar, Dedh Ishqiya, which stars Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla and Huma Qureshi, too has a rustic feel of the state.

However, the director clarifies that look and feel will be different. Actors Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, who starred in the original, are part of this one as well. “The feel of this film is different from the first one. There will be a flavour, which will be unique and something that you haven’t experienced before,” says Chaubey, who agrees that Madhuri’s comeback to the big screen with this film, has generated curiosity.

“There is a bit of curiosity in the audience’s minds. But they’ll decide whether to watch the film or not by the songs and promos,” he adds.
