The first trailer for The Wolverine has been released ahead of the film's summer release.
After several teasers, Fox has unveiled a 2'30'' trailer offering spectators a better look at events in the movie. The clawed mutant will travel to Japan in an attempt to shatter his immortality, which he sees as a curse.
Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine for the sixth time, opposite a duo of villains made up of Svetlana Khodchenkova and Will Yun Lee, who will play Viper and the Silver Samurai.
A shorter trailer with other images meant for North America was also available exclusively on Trailers.apple.com.
James Mangold's The Wolverine will be internationally in July.
