Park Geon-roung, better known as the child star from the viral Baby Shark Dance video, is making his debut as a K-Pop artiste. At 17, Park will release his Korean digital single WAVE on August 20.

The official social media handle of Baby Shark shared the teaser with the caption, “Baby Shark Boy: A Comeback After 10 Years,” describing his journey from a supporting role in the children’s video to taking the lead with his own music.
“Ten years ago I was dancing next to Baby Shark. Now, I wanted to share my own voice and a story I wrote myself,” Park said in a statement.
