Pakistan completed a remarkable turnaround to beat South Africa by 19 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method in their day-night Group B ICC Champions Trophy 2017 match at Edgbaston on Wednesday and so maintain their hopes of a semi-final place. This was Pakistan’s first win in the ICC Champions Trophy after eight years, having last won a match against India in the 2009 group game in Centurion.
